F
rom the medieval battlefields of this region in Eastern Europe rose a Knight of the Sacred Order of the Dragon, Prince Vlad Dracula:
Dracula
and his knights were dedicated to protecting Christianity and their homeland from invading Turkish armies during the 15th century. While Dracula was on a distant battlefield, Turkish forces raided his castle where his Princess fought valiantly until she chose death over being captured alive. Upon learning of his wife’s apparent suicide and subsequent damnation, Dracula felt betrayed by God and renounced God&all of Christianity.  As a result of these actions, legend has it that Dracula was cursed as a vampire and forced to live an eternal life without his true love. Enraged and heartbroken, Dracula began his quest for revenge where impalement was his preferred method of retribution, earning him the nick name Vlad the Impaler”. Dracula’s knights remained loyal to him and went on to defeat armies that outnumbered them 7 to 1, inciting stories that they could not be killed because they were allNosferatu and hence the legend of the most powerful clan of all vampires was born.
The Nosferatu’s power was noted by Bram Stoker as having the strength of twenty men, and the ability to command or transform into any predatory creature such as the wolf.  To this day, the Nosferatu are the enforcers of the Masqueradeand rulers of the Underworld Nosferatu are the Masters of all other Vampires.
