Description

This is one of the great designs on US government currency. There is a story that this note was banned in Boston because of the bare breast on the central figure.  This is a $5 1896 silver certificate "educational" note. It has Freidberg number 268 which means the signatures are Tillman and Morgan. This is a necessary note for a type collection. It is graded by PCGS as Extremely Fine 45PPQ. You don't nee to trust me for the grade of the note, you only need to trust PCGS!
