The Lunar & Starglow filter reduces light pollution and improves observation of the night sky in urban and rural areas.

Variable polarizing filters dim the view when observing bright celestial objects, such as the moon, stars, comets, and constellations. The light transmission is variable from 40% to 1%. Stacking two polarizing filters together will give you a variable ND2-2000 ND filter, which can be used freely on the telescope without affecting the focal length at all, helping you to capture more brilliant star rivers. Note: The thinner polarizing filter needs to be mounted underneath the ringed polarizing filter.

The UHC filter allows emission lines from nebulae to pass through while blocking a large amount of light pollution caused by artificial outdoor light. The filter darkens the sky background and improves the contrast of your images.

Color planetary filters come in 5 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue. Red: Makes Mercury and Venus stand out from the blue sky during the day. Orange: Increases contrast between light and dark areas and penetrates clouds. Yellow: Brings out the polar ice caps of Mars. Green: Enhances frost patches, surface fogs, and polar projections on Mars. Blue: Splits the binary star Antares when at maximum separation.

The 13% transmission lunar filter can block 87% of the light gathered by the telescope, giving you comfortable lunar views and high contrast.

The lunar & starglow filter can block unwanted 589nm wavelengths of light, and improve observation of the night sky in urban and rural areas.
