THE ROLLER IN THIS KIT IS MADE IN THE U.S.A. FROM HEAT TREATED O-1 HIGH CARBON STEEL. BEWARE OF THE ONES MADE IN CHINA.  THEY ARE NOT MADE FROM HIGH CARBON STEEL AND ARE NOT HEAT TREATED. THEY WILL QUICKLY GET A GROOVE WORN IN THEM BY THE STOP ARM. THE ONE THAT I MAKE AND SELL IS HIGH QUALITY AND THE ONLY USA MADE ROLLER AVAILABLE. IF YOU WANT THE BEST THEN THIS ONE IS IT.  THE REST ARE ALL INFERIOR QUALITY THAT ARE MADE IN CHINA.

If your hinge looks like the one in the photographs and the door stop (the part that holds the door half way or all the way open) does not function properly then the problem may be a bad stop arm roller, roller axle or spring. If that's the case then this kit will allow you to repair your hinge to proper functionality. This kit consists of the three parts that are shown in the main photograph.... one new stop arm roller, one new roller axle pin and one new spring. The roller is made of heat treated high carbon steel for longevity. It's possible to complete the repair without removing the hinge. Please make sure your hinge is the same as the one in the photographs before ordering.  This kit does not include the stop arm itself.
