Offered here is this Wonderful Antique Trunk. It is in fair condition, but the leather handles and straps are worn, and are broken and missing pieces, except for the front leather strap handle, which is surprisingly intact. The trunk itself is in good condition, structurally, although I am unsure of its actual age. The trunk has gotton wet at some point, and the moisture damage and staining goes all the way through to the inside of the trunk. The covering on the outside of the trunk is worn, torn, and coming off in this area as well, on both the front and side of the trunk. The trunk has a hinged lid, and the original lining is still inside the bottom portion of the trunk. The trunk is made of wood, with a nice olive green covering that is mainly intact, except for the aforementioned area, and metal reinforced seams. The locking mechanism that was once on the front of the trunk is missing. The trunk also has two latches, one on each side of the main lock, that are a unique design and work well. The trunk also has other label remnants on it from travel. The trunk is 13” tall, 7.5” deep, 31” long and 17” wide. It is a very nice antique trunk that is in collectible condition and would be a great storage trunk as well as being a nice antique piece. It is in need of some TLC and repair. It would be a very nice restoration project as well.
