This necklace & earrings set is from the estate of my great-aunt, a Choctaw citizen who was a collector of Native American art and fine jewelry.  Made of thousands of tiny "Seed Beads", the craftsmanship is impressive - the beads make beautiful patterns throughout the necklace and matching earrings.

The loop part of the necklace is 23" in length, but gathers together at the bottom, and a 3.5" beaded "pendant" hangs from that.  It will have the look/length of a 30" necklace when worn.

The earrings are made to match and are 4 inches in length, on French hooks.

While unsigned, the set is clearly handmade, as evidenced by the hand-tied knots and the rolled fabric that the beadwork was embroidered on. Should be circa 1960's or 1970's (most of my great-aunt's jewelry was purchased around that time).  She was a frequent presence at Native art shows and Choctaw festivals in our home state of Oklahoma and throughout the Southwest, which is no doubt where this was purchased.
