Two years have passed since F.E.A.S.T. delivered their debut album "Rise". A busy period of time for F.E.A.S.T.'s main song writer, lead vocalist and guitar player Fabri Kiareli, who divided his time between the stage and the recording studio. With F.E.A.S.T. Fabri and his band mates Luke Ballabio (guitar), Angelo Perini (bass) and Mao Granata (drums) played 120 shows in the north of
Fabri Kiareli first got infected with the Rock’n’Roll virus during his teen years by listening to guitar players like Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads and Ace Frehley and young Fabri teached himself how to play guitar while rocking along to the riffs of his teenage idols.
In the mid-80s he started playing in Heavy Rock bands, drawing his influences from outfits like Dokken, Def Leppard, Ratt and White Lion. After being around for a while he got to the attention of Pino Scotto, the former lead vocalist of Vanadium, one of the most successful Rock bands in

After some years of playing successfully in cover bands and doing work as a “hired gun”, Fabri finally decided to start his own band and to go out and rock the world with his own original songs. When F.E.A.S.T.'s debut album “Rise” finally was released in the fall of 2010 it showcased the musical influences of its main man, ranging from straight ahead Heavy Rock anthems to Classic Rock power ballads, from fast paced Metal tracks to epic pieces and it included the Melodic Rock hymn “Follow The Way”, a duet with Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever, Hardline, Lionville).
Following the release of "Rise" F.E.A.S.T. hit the road and with their energetic live performance they started to build up a solid fan base in their home country.
In addition to being active in the Northern Italian live circuit with F.E.A.S.T. Fabri on guitar and Angelo on bass became involved in the reunion of The Trip, a British / Italian Progressive Rock band that started out in the mid 60s with Richie Blackmore on guitar. The reunion of The Trip became a very successful venture including the recording of a live CD / DVD and performances at renowed events like the Rome World Prog Exhibition Fest in November 2010 and one year later the Prog Fest in
Following the activities with The Trip Fabri joined UT, a band paying tribute to the 70s era of the New Trolls, another Italian Prog band. This time he was hired as the lead singer / bass player for selected shows, including another performance in
In between his live commitments Fabri already started the pre-production of the new F.E.A.S.T. album around September 2011, but it wasn’t until June 2012 before the recordings for the follow-up to “Rise” were completed.
The record called “Strong, Wild and Free” picks up where its predecessor left off and it expands the musical horizon of F.E.A.S.T. by adding some more melodic moments. The album proves to be a highly enjoyable blend of the Fabri’s various influences ranging from hard rocking tracks like the opener “Strong, Wild And Free” to the catchy Melodic Rock of “Heart and Soul”, “How Long”, “Gonna Fly” and “Rock ’n’ Roll Flame”, a future live favourite with a touch of early Giant. Additional variation is delivered with “Tell Me You’re Ready”, a tune cut from the same cloth as a classic MSG or UFO song and the Savatage inspired epic “Children Of Beslan”.
