The new circuit design is more convenient, reliable, and practical, purely for the sake of Hifi!


Phantom Electroacoustic is constantly pursuing breakthroughs, and we have been thinking about how to do better than others. As long as we put our heart into design, we will be different:


(1) The delay time is adjustable, and customers can freely set the soft start time based on the capacity of the power amplifier transformer and capacitor. Simply rotating a fine tuning resistor can achieve a soft start time of 1 to 5 seconds, which is the biggest improvement of the new version.

(2) Add mains power filtering function; This is a precedent not seen on market. After all imported Philips and Panasonic safety capacitors are checked to ensure the purity of the power input to the power amplifier. At present, many household appliances that emit harmonics, especially electronic ballast fluorescent lamps, LED spotlights, Induction cooking.... This really cannot be ignored, it is a very practical design, and I feel this way when I debug the amplifier myself. It is very necessary! Moreover, capacitors can provide the shortest and fastest circuit for signal current, and high-frequency signals no longer pass through hundreds of meters of power supply lines as circuits, significantly reducing signal channel impedance!

(3) Fast delay recovery function, very user-friendly design, once the switch is disconnected, it will quickly reset the relay and delay circuit. Prevent accidental operation from burning the fuse. Some design delay circuits on the market reset slowly. If the power switch is pressed again within a short period of time after shutting down, the relay will not be restored, which will cause accidents such as fuse burning. Compared to traditional soft start, it is more reasonable and reliable.

(4) Reasonable interface layout; Clear and clear functions, convenient wiring.

(5) No external power supply required; Easy to use and simplified design, without worrying about introducing magnetic leakage interference in some designs with transformers. If this is a demanding DIY work, please do not ignore it. The leakage of those small transformers will definitely reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of your amplifier by several db

(6) Strict safety distance design.


Attention:
The soft start board receives power from the mains through RC voltage reduction. To ensure safety, do not touch any parts on the board when it is powered on. Some friends want to lead the LED on the board to the power amplifier panel, and insulation should also be done to prevent electric shock.

Applicable occasions:
1. Soft start of high-power isolation transformers to prevent switch tripping caused by high current surges.
2. Soft start of large filtering power amplifiers to prevent impact on mains power and reduce the starting current of the power amplifier itself to slow down the impact on components. Some friends also use it after the inverter to prevent the load from overloading the inverter at the moment of startup.
