the interior glazed in brilliant dark blue and finely decorated in anhua technique with two scaly five-clawed dragons striding amidst ruyi-shaped clouds in lighter blue glaze, encircling a central ruyi-cloud medallion, the shallow sides of the interior similarly decorated with eight buddhist symbols, the exterior carved with scrolling lotus
