1945 - 2005 Battle of the Scheldt -  Sterling Silver 50 cent coin

This 2005 Battle of Britain coin  is a beautifully struck silver 50 cent coin with a detailed image of a Canadian tank on the reverse.  The double date is on the reverse..

This coin is one of six in the set.  Witness the revival of Europe's key inland port as Canadians conquered German defences on the Netherland's impassable lowlands.


 This coin is minted in sterling silver and is 27.13 mm in diameter and weighs 9.3 grams.   The obverse of the coin carries the proof finish image of the Queen (by Susanna Blunt) against a mirror background.

The comes to you in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder.  No case or certificate is included (although if you do want the original capsule or the six-coin case I have those -- contact me)
