Rafferty Traditional, jointed, Heirloom Teddy Bear Kit. Mohair, 11” Approx suitable for intermediate bear maker who has good sewing experience. This bear has a centre seamed head gusset to add character but needs accuracy. He has long arms and legs and a hump so he is like the earliest bears along with his genuine Victorian boot button eyes.

I have created this kit with everything you need apart from scissors and a few things you will have at home. This kit includes the stuffing and pellets unlike some others. Detailed list on one of the photos.

He has beautiful but more expensive Schulte German mohair which Makeateddy has called Scottish scran. It has a 25mm scruffy pile in a vintagey old gold , German wool felt pads and genuine Victorian boot button eyes.

He has polyester stuffing and some plastic pellets to add weight and a little squidgyness.

I have drawn out the pattern on the mohair ready to cut out and the pads are also drawn out, backed with white felt and machined ready to cut out. The paper pattern included is reusable.

This kit is nicely boxed perfect for a gift and we can put in one of our own gift tags and a birthday card from our own drawings for free if you ask us to.
