TL;DR (?!):

The 1:1 Full size Life-Size Replica Proton Pack from Spirit Halloween is a great pack on it's own, but can be taken to the next level with the upgrade of the trigger to the wand.  Instead of pressing the buttons on the panel where the SLO-BLO indicator is supposed to go, you can use actual trigger box pushbutton (included!) to fire the wand.

These are 3D printed parts, so some variation is surface textures compared to these images will occur.  The parts are printed with some "scaffolding" to support the upper layers while printing the part.  You will need to remove this to install the switches and mount the trigger box.  I use needle nose pliers to remove most of the scaffolding.

The parts in these photos have not been sanded or painted, so are representative of the parts that you will receive.  If you wish to sand, paint or just add some weathering to the parts, that is up to you.

No external alterations (other than removing the previous trigger box) to your wand are needed to upgrade your wand with this trigger box kit.

Two main options when installing:

1) If you want this for just looks, it is a simple installation that does not require opening up the pack or the wand.  Just remove the old trigger box this is held in place with one screw and then mount the new trigger box (once you assemble it) and it is held securely in the same place with the same screw.

2) If you want the switches to actually do something other than look and feel great, you will have to open up the wand and do some simple soldering to attach the switches to the existing switches in the wand.  The wire and heatshrink tubing are included, but you will need to provide the solder and soldering tool and heat gun (or flame) needed to make and finish those connections.
