how to work with ancel s300 smoke leak detector?
Step1: Fill in 10ml-20ml test oil (baby oil) to the detector
Step2: Disconnect the pipe that needs to be connect with the detector
Step3: Connect detector with DC12V battery,device starts to work
Step4: The pipe will be filled with smoke,check the leak points
2 kinds of modes: AIR model+Smoke mode
Air mode :First, use the air mode to directly measure the leak, and judge whether there is a leak by the pressure gauge value. If it is less than 0.5bar, it will inevitably leak. If it reaches 0.8bar and above, the pipeline tightness is very good.Then there is no need to waste baby oil
SMOKE MODE:After the air mode determines that there is a leak, use the smoke mode to find the leak.
How to judge leakage- through the pressure gauge?
NO Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge remains unchanged and the flow meter will read zero (ball at bottom of scale), it means that there is no leakage in the system.
Small Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge drops and the ball in the flow meter slowly fall to the bottom of the scale, it indicates a small leak in the system.
Massive Leak: When the value of the pressure gauge reaches zero and the flow meter ball never falls to the bottom of the scale, it indicates a large leak in the system.

Q1. What do I do if the LED is not turning on? A: Ensure that the smoke machine is connected to the power source correctly with the right polarity.
Q2. What could be causing poor contact of the power line? A: Check the power line with a meter to confirm if it is broken. If it is broken, replace the power lines.
Q3. The pump is on but there is no air output? A: Ensure that the Flow Dial is open anti-clockwise. If the issue persists, replace the pump with a new one.
Q4. There is no smoke output.
A: Check if there is air output by referring to Q3. Check the oil level and refill to the correct level. If the battery voltage is low, check and ensure it is over 12V. If the heater is damaged, replace it if the current consumption is less than 3Amp.
Q5. The smoke output is weak and there are obvious oil drops from the output? A: Change to a compatible smoke oil and check the battery voltage to ensure it is over 12V.
Q6. Why there are slow oil drops from the output? A: Periodically remove the smoke hose and blow it with an air gun.
Q7. What should I do if there is a sudden stop of smoke output? A: The overheat protection may have been activated. Allow the unit to cool down before using it again.
