This Tacho is compatible with all System Check equipped outboards. 

These are models from 1996 onwards with wiring harnesses with three plugs at the outboard end NOT the single red plug.

Warning lights for overheat, low oil (VRO equipped models and E-TEC, no oil (VRO equipped models, E-TEC and Four Stroke) and check engine light.

It is a OEM part, not a aftermarket/pattern one.
