A Large Georgian Silk Work Embroidery of a Lady Looking at the Moon in a Gesso Gilt Frame.

The Lady is beautiful & we have not seen another like it or the size which are Silk Work Panel 53cm X 40cm The Frame is 69cm Height X 55cm Width X 7cm Depth

The Frame is in good order with a slight loss of gilding in places, nothing major.

The silk work is in good condition, there are a few splits in the silk cloth, we have not touched it as we are not experts,

the frame had no back on it when we bought it, so we placed acid free tissue to the back & covered it with clean cardboard to preserve what is there.

The pictures have been taken under photographic  fluorescent light, you can just see it in the pictures, other pictures without light included.
