Minted in 1975, this .999 silver ingot issued by the Franklin Mint is part of the Currier & Ives Collection depicting 12 master works by Nathaniel Currier and James Merritt Ives.  These outstanding artists played an important part in American culture by capturing the spirit of life in the 19th century.

Entitled “The Road, Winter” this is a beautifully etched relief depicting a horse drawn sleigh ride on a brisk, bright winter day. The couple, all bundled in warm garb, is traveling from their cottage pictured in the background and happily making their way to an unknown destination

Still sealed in its original packaging, this ingot has been protected for 48 years and holds the same luster and definition as the day it was purchased. The ingot measures 2” x 3” and in the packaging measures: 3.5” x 6”.
