The decor follows the trail of Marco Polo on his travels through India and China where he also found his favourite place in Quinsai (China), the Quinsai Garden. The decor shows various flowers, which Marco Polo discovered on his journey through China. Each flower has a deeper meaning. Peony stands for affluence and noblesse. Camellia represents generosity while chrysanthemum symbolises endurance, courage and longevity. Magnolia pays tribute to rulers and beautiful women. These magnificent flowers have been combined with an Indian paisley patter, which Marco Polo discovered on his journey through India. The 6 dinner plates together create an overall picture.
