Tell me more about the case:
Hobby Stuff manufacture the (optional) case in PETG, making it more heat resistant and tougher than cases manufactured in materials such as PLA. It's a design 100% created by Hobby Stuff, and we have gone through many iterations in order to squeeze extra features in.
It's external measurements are 64.7 x 38.7 x 21.5 mm. The lid and base are snap fit, and hold the ESP32 quite snugly. There's a slot for the USB connection, plus a hole opposite designed to mount the antenna. On the underside the base can be detached to gain access to your pins. With the base plate removed, mounting holes are also available to enable the case to be screwed to a surface (the two holes are 30 mm apart and make a good fit for an M3 bolt or small wood screw).
The case is chunky with a 2mm outer wall, making it a tough little thing to keep your hard working ESP32 protected.
