Edwy Searles Brooks typed manuscripts. 3 Westchester stories Bill Smith's Birthday: Andy's Prize Jape & Danger, Schoolboys at Work! as Edward Thornton and 1 Whitelands, Goody's Lovely Week-End as Reginald Browne. All typed on versos of Norman Conquest or Inspector Cromwell stories.
Smudges & stains to outer pages, less inside, some notes to fronts refer to 1940s compilations, some edge wear, creases to some corners. Secure single butterfly clip. Some stains inside. Odd edit, more to versos inc' name change from McTavish to Cromwell, so first or very early draft.

Also The League of Terror; St. Frank's is destroyed & Nelson Lee's Detective Academy opens, stamped Nov. 1929 dates to versos. Can't find a record of this title, so likely reworked. Bound without covers.
Stains to outer pages, some damp affects first few, notes to front, some damp, top corner & next few nibbled, all bumped.
