Front Cam: Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 + WDR

The front camera is powered by Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 5M Ultra-low light sensor that can record up to 1944P @30fps video resolution capturing the smallest details. Plus the unique Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology which automatically balances exposure and light/dark spots, captures much more details in ultra-low light during night time and even on dark roads.

Front Cabin Cam: 4 IR LED Lights + WDR

The front cabin camera utilizes 4 infrared LED lights, which automatically work once it detects low light in the car cabin and presents clear black & white image recordings.

Rear Cabin Cam: 4 IR LED Lights + HDR

The rear cabin camera utilizes 4 infrared LED lights as well. Plus the HDR technology makes it a perfect dash cam solution for rideshare, Uber, Lyft, or commercial fleet drivers. The unique rear cabin camera greatly helps to eliminate blind spots and ensures complete area coverage including your trunk, the back seat as well as the side windows. Make your driving more peace of mind while having a baby in the back seat.

Rear Cam: HDR

The rear camera uses 2MP SONY Starvis Night Vision sensors and HDR multi-exposure technology, which captures maximum image detail in high-contrast scenes and corrects exposure levels when a subject is too dark or too bright, so the camera can capture the license plate of cars behind clearly even with their headlights on full beams.

CPL Filter (Optional)

CPL filter reduces reflections and glares from glass, metal, or shiny surfaces, which can enhance the image quality, in the same way that polarized sunglasses do. (CPL sold separately).

Voice Control

N5 dash cam comes with an advanced voice control feature, which allows you to take photos, mute/unmute the microphone, end recording, and lock video with speech commanders in multiple languages (English/Japanese/Russian/Chinese), protecting your hands away from the wheels while driving, and keeping your eyes on road safety.

Wireless Controller (Optional)

5GHz Wi-Fi

With the 5GHz high-frequency Wi-Fi, you can easily set up the dashcam on your smartphone, view, edit, and download video clips to your phone, and share on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media much faster than the original 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

24/7 Parking Guard with Low-light Night Vision

Four parking monitoring modes present 24/7 guards to your car while parking. (The dash cam should be hardwired to use the parking mode, and hardwire kits sold separately).

Buffered Motion Detection

In the 10s pre-recording buffered Motion Detection mode, once any motion around the car is detected, all 4 cameras will automatically start recording and will save the video for 10 seconds before and 30 seconds after the event occurs.
With the Customizing Motion Detection Area setting, you can draw your own custom Motion Zones for the front and rear camera, so your device can focus on the specific areas that are most important to you.

Collision Detection

This parking mode records video when an impact occurs to the parked car.

Low Bitrates Recording

The dash cam will enter parking mode if it doesn’t detect any movement in 5 mins and will keep recording at 720P 15FPS. The length of each clip will be the same as the loop recording setting.

Low Frame Rate Recording

This parking mode allows your dashcam to continuously record at 1FPS (one frame per second). Videos are played back at 30FPS. Each 1-minute Time lapse Parking Mode video covers a real-time period of 30 minutes. Please note: the camera won’t record sound in this mode.

Easy Installation with the Magnetic Mount

The cameras are attached to the windshield by a 3M adhesive mount. And the front camera’s mount features an innovative magnetic structure design that allows you to easily remove the front dash cam whenever you want without having to remove the entire mount. The mount features a universal ball joint, allowing for unrestricted adjustment of the dash cam to any angle desired.

Mileage Statistics

You can click to download mileage information as required, and the mileage information will be saved in the APP as a picture or PDF file.

GPS Logger

Equipped with a dual GPS system module, the N5 will record your driving route and speed more accurately. You can track your route when playing back videos on your phone or computer with Vantrue Cam App or Vantrue player.

Supercapacitor

The N5’s power system is based on supercapacitors instead of batteries, which guarantees more safety, withstands the most frigid cold and intense heat, and has a longer lifespan than batteries.
