The leather palm is made with grip dots making this a great option for all day work and tactical wear.  The 4" extra cuff is great to provide that extra protection and also be able to tuck in your sleeves to prevent exposure.  Note:  They are made to be snug and in testing a large fits both Large and XLarge well due to the stretch material.
