Antique 19th century French Empire gilt bronze furniture mount or display base for porcelain vase or lamp.  Square base with round upper top section.  Beautifully detailed and chased.  The base measures 5" square; the round top measures 4 1/4" diameter.  The base stands 1 1/2" tall.  Good condition - wear to gilding - has a glass piece inserted in the opening probably the remains of old vase.  Displays well.  Please view our other auctions.
