The Escort Mk1 was introduced in 1968, and right from the outset a high-performance model was available, the Lotus-powered 1,558cc Twin-Cam. Its 106bhp was more than double that of the Escort 1100 and It paved the way for other high-performance sporting models, notably, the RS1600 (1970) the Mexico (1970) and the RS2000 (1973). The Escort Mk2 was produced between 1975 and 1980, as before, several high-performance 'flagship' models were offered in the Escort line-up. Like the Mk1, these cars offered more performance, more equipment and better driving dynamics. The distinctive ‘droop-snoot’ RS2000 (1976) was perhaps the best-loved.
 This superb print, from original illustrations is printed on thick 230gsm paper it is suitable for framing with a mount or without. We are offering this fine art print in mint, unissued condition (wrapped in cellophane).
