Japanese style mirror is mounted in a gilt faux-bamboo frame with a striking demure Geisha holding a fan in a long flowing kimono. The design is similar to eglomise but in this case it is created by cutting out the glass in sections and inserting the gilt-metal design from the back. A skilled undertaking. Stunning at any room. simple and modern and speaks elegance.Japanese characters etched at the lower side of the Geisha.
Great to excellent condition w/o any repairs, mirror is well kept, minor scuff marks at the frame.
