Just as they say how an army travels on its stomach, so too does a nation. And in order to keep those stomachs full, strong and sturdy kitchen utensils are required.

On offer here is a 1960s Soviet era black and white enamel Colander/Sieve/Strainer of sturdy construction. One look at it and you can tell it has faithfully served up some serious cookery for the people! Has a hole in the handle for hanging up, and an extension with a hole also for hanging. There are some imprinted details on the underside of the handle.
