On offer here is a beautiful Soviet-produced green 'carnival glass' style colored cut glass herring serving platter that will bring old-world charm to every table setting. 

Made all over the USSR in the 1960s, these elegant oval vintage 'cut' glass multipurpose dishes can serve as a platter, a plate for snacks, a herring tray, a container for trinkets, rings, or other treasures; or as a base for very nice floral ornaments. Such dishes were very fashionable things in Soviet houses and lots of people used to collect them despite the high price and difficulties to get them. The plate has a mark on the bottom of the price of 66 Kopeks and the brand mark "САЗ" (SAZ).
