For this listing we are offering an unusual country primitive with a patent date incised on the back. It is a little hard to read but it says, “Pat. Feb. 22, 98” It is in great condition and has a little hand operated trolley with a handle that slides back and forth over 6 metal blades. We like that at the end is a “pusher” that after shredding it pushes the vegetables off toward the end. There is a hole at the top as it is meant to hang on the wall and has a “stop” at the other end so the trolley doesn't leave the track when it is hanging. It is actually quite an ingenious device for early kitchens----and very attractive as well. It has been refinished and looks like it must have looked in 1898!   Please refer to the photos for the best look. It will display well.

Measurements are 21” L. x 3 ¾” w. x 2 1/8” tall at the sides.
