Pair Antique Russian Niello Tea Glass Holders .875 Solid Sterling Silver 227g.

Beautified pair of antique Russian solid .875 silver tea cup holders. They are not an exact mirrored pair but rather a complimentary pair. Made by same silversmith at the same time no doubt and in the same general theme/pattern but with variations to make them unique and interesting. Also one has gold gilt decoration on the exterior while the other does not. Both have gilt interiors. They are both fully hallmarked. I’m not a Russian hallmark professional by any means but I believe they are early 20th century. Very pretty things in very good condition. No issues other than normal light signs of age and use. Th gauge of silver used is quite heavy and they weigh an impressive 227 grams as a pair. Replacement glass inserts are widely available on eBay for under $20 each on average. These came out of an impressive Cambridge, MA silver collection that featured a good deal of Russian silver. I’ll have a handful of Russian spoons listed in the coming week or so. Ships ASAP! Thanks
