Hello dear customers on your consideration is a rare circa 1890-1900 Art Nouveau jewellery box. Fine brass box with silver plated finish. Marked on bottom with figurative mark A or D or stirrup shape stylised. Featuring hammered metal effect with organic floral motifs, accented with heavy armoured Knight on horse in central medallion. The box with integrated lock but the key is not presented now days. Small semi spherical feet on bottom. Inside lined with mahogany wood. In my opinion profession artist masterpiece but unfortunately unsigned. Found at estate sale in Berlin. Excellent preserved with minor wear on silver plating on top and on lock due to age.
