This puncture type valve opener is designed for the US and American types of refrigerant canisters that are equipped with 7/16in-28UNF threads. This puncture valve is made to be used with R-12a, R-22, R-134a and other similar type of canisters. Made of brass and includes a female 1/4 SAE threaded to 1/2in ACME male threaded adapter. Can be used to seal the canister after it was punctured and used but still has refrigerant remaining.
