My late husband left behind a slew of baskets, and I'm selling off the ones that my daughter and I don't want (yes, we've already sent baskets to all the friends and relatives). He was proud enough of this finished basket to tag it and add a price, which I will honor. It's a short Nantucket basket with a stained round wood base (walnut). His tag includes the signature train charm that he added to all his "for sale" baskets.
The basket measures 4 1/4" round at opening and stands about 2 1/4" tall. The base is 2 3/4" in diameter and is finished in a walnut stain. Great basket for a gift. It's perfect for candies or nuts, etc. Or, use it for a "junk basket" to collect change, keys, etc.
