A vintage Billingham camera bag in generally ‘very-good’ condition (in good condition for both its age and also in general - it looks hardly used, but please note there is one slight split near the stitching on one flap - I think it is a factory stitching fault). I should mention that the flap that covers the front two pockets has a small tear (see photo) which could possibly be repaired with needle & thread, but is is quite unimportant as this flap is further covered by the larger main flap - i.e., it won’t let rain in.

I’m not entirely sure of the model, but think it is a ‘330’ which has been discontinued for many years or it might be an early 335. It is very similar in size to a 335 which would be the most direct comparison.

This bag was made in the Lye factory, so dates from between 1980 and 1991 according to the Billingham website.

It is an early bag which predates the flexible green inserts and instead uses t heavy foam insert that the buyer had to construct himself - Billingham used to call this material ’systemflex’.

For those who know, this early bag will have some street-cred as it isn’t factory-pristine, but also not heavily worn and is extremely presentable. And of course it is nearly 40-years-old.

There is no smell of tobacco on it.
