The Merlin 041A4017-1 Shaft Adaptor will allow you to be able to engineer a DIY-able fix for when your spline adaptor breaks. A common reason behind the shaft breaking is that the door might have impacted something when closing, causing immense strain on the adaptor.

You will require some basic tools, such as a ladder, screwdriver, socket wrench and assorted sockets to gain access to the location to replace your Merlin opener rail adaptor.

These adapters attach to the motor drive shaft and engage with the belt drive cog in the C-Rail and are used on the below Merlin sectional/tilt door operators.
This is the steel version and is suitable for replacing the earlier plastic design that can strip out.
