Vntg MCM Charcoal Gray Lucite Box Purse Bag, Marbleized, Pearlized, Silver Frame

This is a striking Lucite box bag with simple elegance from, probably, the 1950's.  The marbleized and pearlized Lucite is charcoal gray in color and just slightly translucent.  The frame and hardware are silver toned.  I see no maker's marks on the bag.

The bag shape is trapezoidal.  It measures about 5.25" tall.  The Lucite handle adds about 5" in height.  The base measures about 4.5" by 3.5" while the lid is 6" by 3.5".  

This bag in in overall great condition.  There are no cracks or major scratches to the Lucite.  The swivel Lucite handle has no problems. The hardware all works as it should.  The clasp, hinges, and handle pivot points are all secure and all function well  Here are the minor issues I see:

• One tiny chip on one back corner of the lid.  See photo 19.
• Some corrosion to the metal frame on the base interior and exterior.  See photos 7 and 20-22.
• Some overall scuffing/aging to the metal.  This might polish out, but I have not attempted to do so as I feel this is the patina of a vintage piece.
