Thank you for looking at our auctions!  We have dozens of vintage street, Dual Sport and Motocross Bikes in our inventory so hopefully we have something you can use on your project.   It is are responsibility to provide you the most information possible about the items listed.  It is your responsibility to make sure this item selling is the one you need for your project or restoration. Many of these vintage parts can be found on multiple bikes so please do your research and make sure it's what you need...  That being said, all items are sold as is and what you see in the photos is exactly what you will receive in the mail.   I've been in the restoration business for over 20 years and I pride myself on being one of the few vendors that actually try and show before and after pics of all my parts.  99% of the items we sell have also been cleaned, media or vapor blasted, polished out by hand, primed and bagged and tagged with new labels...  Basically all the dirty work has been done for you.  Thanks again and hope to do some business with you!

You are looking at an original Fuel Tank Assembly that I pulled off a 1984 Yamaha XT 250. Considering what you normally find on a 40 year old bike, really can't expect a whole lot more.  I probably spent a total of 15 minutes cleaning this up so I'm basically selling this in take off condition.  Overall condition is actually quite good. It has no leaks, No serious cancer spots anywhere on the tank and the steel is good to go.  Surface rust only and will easily come off once you blast the tank down.  As you can see the tank does have some typical type dings and dents here and there.  I've seen better and no question I've seen worse.  The inside of the tank is actually quite nice.  It's not all clapped or rusted out.  All I did was pressure wash it out and got it somewhat cleaned out.  New owner will want to do a more of a clean out and I'd probably line it for good measure.  It was an empty tank so I kind of lucked out on that aspect.  Again you can't expect a perfect 40 year old tank in today's world.  Obviously it will need a full on restoration but you have a really good base to work with.  I really can't add anything you don't already see in the provided photos. Again I did nothing to the tank except a quick clean up.  Winning bidder should be pleased with the purchase and what you see in the photos is what you will receive in the mail.  This is easily the cleanest original tank currently selling on ebay so if you are looking for the best available, look no further than right here. Matter of fact is the best 84 tank that's been listed out over the last 3-5 months...  Even in it's current condition is really is quite solid all the way around and it will work out great once the restoration has been done.  Make note We ship using the cheapest carrier available.  Shipping is an estimate only that is automatically generated by ebay.  If there is an overcharge on shipping, a simple refund on the difference will take place once the forks have shipped out.  (reference picture of the bike/motor this item came off of has been provided)

Don't let my selling price fool you on the overall quality.  I sell original parts at a competitive price.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK ME BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID.  This is a large, heavy and bulky item no way around it.  Domestic shipping is estimated out at $60.00 and will ship with added insurance as well as signature required.  I can't replace this item so both the winning bidder and myself will have some protection against lost or damages.  And since I do not know where this will end up, if there is a large difference on the S/H, I will simply issue the winning bidder some type of refund via paypal.   Overseas buyers can expect to pay more for obvious reasons and please note I will not change final customs amount.  Your final bid is the declared value so please do not ask me to lower the customs declared value.  It is what it is and I just won't do it.  Also note I do not make a profit on S/H but do make enough to cover the cost of packing things correctly and the simple fact I have to drive a long way into town to mail this stuff out.  So I gladly combine items as long as they fit in the same box.  Anything I can do to help on costs I do.  I only accept paypal or other forms of online payments.  It's quick it's painless and the only way I do business.  Payment must be received within 5 days from the close of auction and items will ship within 3 days of that.  No exceptions and no excuses.  If your not serious about the item, please do not waste our time.  I've been buying and selling on Ebay since 1999  (I also sell WWII Vehicle/Parts under Kings99) and my feedback is PERFECT so bid with confidence.  Thanks for looking, good luck and Semper Fi to my fellow Marines!
