Description

Here is 1929 $50 Federal Reserve Bank Note. It is from the Dallas district and has been graded by PCGS as Very Fine 25 with a comment about an edge tear. If you are looking for a generic $50 FRBN, this may not be the note to get as Dallas is a tougher district. This is for the district set collector or a collector of Dallas notes.

During the depression Roosevelt ordered a bank holiday and shut down the banks for a day. At that time the BEP used paper that was slated to print nationals and printed Federal Reserve Bank notes in a hurry. This is one of those emergency notes.
