"Sitting Up With A Sick Friend" is a vintage Cassius Marcellus Coolidge print featured on a rare 1969 calendar salesman sample.  There are 11 Cassius Marcellus Coolidge (1844-1934) paintings of dogs sitting around a card table that have become part of American pop-culture and are instantly recognizable.

The featured calendar is approximately 14" x 21.25" in overall size and 9.25" x 14" in image size.  It is in very good condition with one fold crease.  It is a salesman sample for the Brown & Bigelow company and the date pad only features April 1969.  Underneath the calendar pad is the complete 1969 calendar and a description of the painting.

Chuck Olson Collection

Chuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints.  He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death.  All of Chuck's items are guaranteed to be vintage and as described and photographed.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
