Size 12 (UK) / Size 8 (USA) - I think wedding dresses come up a bit small as I was a UK size 10 when I wore this dress.

Long dress

Ivory with a gorgeous sheen

Material: 100% polyester

I had this dress altered slightly. From memory, I paid for the following alterations:

I had the bottom taken up a bit at the front

I had the hips taken in very slightly

I had cups added to the front top

I had a hook added to hoist up the train at the back

I might have had the highest part of the back let out slightly but not sure on that

I have worn this once. It has been dry cleaned and is in very good condition. There are a few small marks at the bottom and a couple of marks inside the dress (not seen from the outside). Please see photos for a better idea.

Also, I noticed (as I was taking photos for eBay) that there is a slight flaw with the straps. There are 2 straps that come over each shoulder. One goes straight down and one does up in a criss cross. On one side, the inner strap is used to form the criss cross whereas on the other side the outer strap is used to form the criss cross so it has to overlap the straight strap. This isn’t noticeable unless you look closely. I didn’t even realise when wearing the dress. Please see photos.

I purchased this dress from a wedding dress shop in London called Bromley Brides. I believe I paid £1200 for the dress before alterations.

Please contact me if you have any questions. I would say that, as with most wedding dresses, you’re likely to need to have some alterations as it’s unlikely to fit exactly as you want it to. Even if you usually wear this size, it’s going to fit slightly differently on different body shapes.
