Cochin Bantam Eggs
Eggs sent from a Buff/lemon group and lavendar group.
Parent eggs were imported from the Netherlands. These are basically pekins but ever so slightly bigger. Gorgeous birds.
Please read the full listing carefully for details of my money back
guarantee and how to claim a refund from me if you receive any infertile eggs.
BY BUYING EGGS YOU ARE DECLARING YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FULL
LISTING AND THE TERMS OF THE GUARANTEE.
Please bare in mind that postage will affect the hatch rate even if the eggs arrive unbroken. Being shaken during handling and transit can detach air cells which can cause eggs not to develop even if they are fertile. I buy eggs through eBay myself to vary the gene pool of my birds and I personally usually expect around a 50% hatch rate for shipped eggs, but to be honest it's always a gamble. You can have all of them develop or none!
However, I will refund infertile eggs on the understanding that these steps
are followed...
1. Candle the eggs day 7- 10.
If by day 10 the egg is showing no signs of developing you will need to break
the egg open. Do this on to a small plate.
2. Take a clear picture of the egg and the shell with the writing
I have written on the shell visible in the picture (so I can identify
that it is my egg).
3. Repeat with any other
of my eggs you deem a dud.
4.Send the photos to me via
eBay messages
5. If I can determine from your picture that it is one of my eggs and that it was infertile I will refund for that egg.
PLEASE NOTE: I will only refund for infertile eggs. I do not offer refunds for any blood ring, dead in shell or any other quitters. These eggs were obviously fertile to begin developing and something has stopped them. I can guarantee you only pay for fertile eggs but I can't guarantee how many of the fertile eggs you will successfully hatch. That is completely out of my control.
BY BUYING FROM ME YOU AGREE NOT TO LEAVE NEUTRAL OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK FOR EGGS THAT DO NOT DEVELOP. THIS IS OUT OF MY CONTROL AND I OFFER REFUNDS ON ANY SUCH EGGS AS A GOODWILL JESTURE. MOST SELLERS DO NOT. SO PLEASE BE KIND AND UNDERSTAND I SELL GREAT QUALITY EGGS IN GOOD FAITH. I CANNOT CONTROL NATURE, YOUR INCUBATOR OR THE POSTAL SERVICE BUT WILL DO MY BEST BY OFFERING ADVICE AND REFUNDING EGGS. THIS IS ALL I AM PHYSICALLY ABLE TO DO TO ENSURE YOU ARE LEFT A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. J
Please allow the eggs to settle
pointy end down for 24 hours before setting in the incubator.
·
Personally I incubate with these
settings...
·
Humidity should be between 45%
and 55% from the start to day 17 and raised to 65% for hatching from day 18
onward.
·
The incubation temperature should be
between 99° F and 99.6° F for a fan or forced air incubator and between 100° F
and 101° F for a still air incubator.
·
Eggs should be turned a minimum of 3
times a day until lockdown on day 18.
· Eggs should hatch day 21 (give or take a day or two)
Any questions please ask.
I accept collection by prior
arrangement.
I reuse postage materials where possible.
Many thanks
