A wide base for holding a large candle.
Old, original tag is still on the base: " Hagness Pewter , Norway , 271 "
Undated; probably around 40 to 50 years old.

4 9/16" in diameter, overall.
Wide and sturdy, this holder is large enough to accommodate a candle up to 3 3/4" in diameter.
Central spike to hold the candle in place.
Green felt over the base.

Decorated with a pattern of Viking longboats, Viking warriors, and rosemaling.
