This is a new-old-replacement-stock (NORS) rebuilt generator regulator.  According to my catalogs and online, this is for most models of 1948 thru 1953 Indian Motorcycles.  Also my 1936 Auto Lite catalog shows this for a 1935 Gray Marine engine, and online I found other applications: 1942-1944 Atlas Diesel, several Hercules engines, models BXB, DOO, RXB & HXD; Koering Shovel model 303 with a Waukesha engine #6SRKR; US Motors with 4-cyl and 6-cyl Hercules engines; 1942-43 Buda model 4DT-226 4-cyl for a Hercules 525 KW generator 6-cyl engines used in the Army Air Corps.

This one carries the I.D. tag from Auto-Lite.  The box was in poor condition so I discarded it.  I am still sure it has never been installed or there would be evidence of scratches from the mounting bolts, and all the holes are clean.

Have a look at the one on your equipment.  Double-check your mountings and so on, and what your manuals call for.  It should look like this one, and this would look great on your car, truck or tractor, and your old one kept for a spare!

Please ask yourself, "Here it is: should I not take this opportunity to make sure I have an extra regulator while one is available?"

Condition looks very good, perhaps even excellent.  Naturally I cannot guarantee if it works because I have no way to test it.  But I expect it will bolt right on and work fine.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.  S&H in the USA is only $7.95, shipped in a cardboard box with cushioning.  And it'll take all that in postage.

NOTE: I notice lately that when multiple orders are made from my store, Ebay stacks up all the individual postage costs and customers are paying it.  I have made a practice of refunding all that extra postage back to the customer's Paypal account and doing it 3 times a week.
