I AM NOT SELLING A KIT, only a new, full-size copy of my original PLAN & construction article for a gull-wing, 48" span OSPREY UC stunt to scratch-build a model.

The model appeared in a 1958 American Modeler magazine and used a Fox .29-.35 engine for power. Its unique gull-wing design has always appealed to the UC stunt flyer who is looking for something really different in appearance. It is reminiscent of some between-the-World-Wars fighter plane designs such as the SPARROWHAWK

Pop’s Pro Tip:

“This full-size PLAN has all of the necessary parts patterns on it. The wing rib patterns are shown beneath my yardstick. There are only 3 different sizes. The wing is a straight chord, so the larger rib outline is used for all of those ribs. Then when the Gull Wing step-down takes place there are two smaller rib sizes to be made. Please note that the 3 rib outlines are shown stacked over each other. This was the case on this plan and the magazine plan for the great NOBLER stunt plan. (I list that great NOBLER PLAN + construction and flying articles separately). To use overlapping wing rib outlines, just print 3 copies of it and then cut out the outer outline for your main ribs; cut out the next smaller outline for a few ribs and the smallest outline for the last ribs.”

YOU ARE PURCHASING A NICE, CLEAN, WHITE, FULL-SIZE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL KIT PLAN + CONSTRUCTION ARTICLE FOLDED AND IN A MANILA ENVELOPE.
