Listing for a vintage boxed NEW genuine, a Hi-Trans TIFFEN, made in U.S.A. 48mm DUTO ( a diffusion), screw thread mounted optical glass filter.
A DUTO filter has an engraved circular pattern on the element, concentric circles, to create a sharp center image.
Interesting fact, I have sold and do have in stock other filters labeled as Duto, but this one is different. The spacing between the circles is further apart.
Condition - MINT - New no flaw condition. Clean and ready to use.
(unlike many of the vintage hi-trans Filters of the Tiffen line, THERE IS NO separation or fogging on this filter)
This filter works on ALL photo equipment, 35mm film SLR and Auto-Focus , plus DSLR, digital cameras.
NEW, old stock from our former camera shop and trade show business, filter comes in its older style box with the plastic filter case and the information insert.
Box does have age and shop wear.
