"Strela" is a legendary watch in the USSR. Released in 1959, Strela 3017 became a legend in the history of Soviet space when it was worn on the wrist by Alexei Leonov during his 1965 spacewalk. Exclusively intended for Air Force officers, the early Arrows were not available for sale. The 3017 movement ceased production in the late 1970s and was replaced by the current 3133.
