The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer and a digital converter (DSC), and uses digital beam synthesis (DBF), real-time dynamic aperture imaging (RDA), real-time dynamic acoustic tracing (DRA) and real-time point-by-point dynamic receiver focus (DRF).
