Step 1 – Using your driver, extract the pentolobe screws from the base of the device.

Step 2 – Slide the rear cover upwards until a click is heard, the back cover should then be easily removed.

Step 3 - Remove the set of screws from the battery connector shield. (It is important the the screws are put in the holes you extracted them from)

Step 4 – The connector should be removed with the shield if the previous steps have been completed correctly.

Step 5 – Pull the battery pull tab and the battery should come out. Once the battery has been removed, you can replace a new tab, and follow the steps in revers to replace the battery.

How to calibrate a new battery?

Battery calibration is a very simple task and is highly recommended for optimal performance. To calibrate your battery please follow the steps below.

Allow the battery to discharge after installation.

Once the battery has fully discharged, charge the battery to full

Allow it to discharge again, follow this process 3-4 more times for optimal performance.
