HUGE RAINBOW DREAMCATCHER, Crochet Chakra Dreamcatcher, Native American Design

A beautiful huge hand made native American design dreamcatcher. The center is 12" in diameter and is hand-crocheted cotton in 7 different chakra colors, corresponding to the chakras of the body. The ring around the center is covered in faux silk. Then there are the feathers attached to the bottom. There are 8 large feathers in red, orange, yellow and green, 4 in blue and turquoise and 2 in purple. They are attached to the circle with faux silk and have beads attached in native American colors of brown.

This is a huge large impressive dreamcatcher with stunning vibrant colors that measures 40 inches from top of the 4" hanger to the bottom feather.

Dream Catcher Lore:
Native Americans believe that the night air is filled with dreams both good and bad. The dream catcher when hung over or near your bed swinging freely in the air, catches the dreams as they flow by. The good dreams know how to pass through the dream catcher, slipping through the outer holes and slide down the soft feathers so gently that many times the sleeper does not know that he/she is dreaming. The bad dreams not knowing the way get tangled in the dream catcher and perish with the first light of the new day.
