WOODWORKING PLANS FOR TABLE HOCKEY GAME: It was the depths
of the Great Depression and Don Munro didn’t have money for Christmas
presents for his children, so he cobbled together a pin-ball hockey game from house-hold items. His family enjoyed the game so much that he built another which he
took to downtown Toronto Eaton’s department store to sell on
consignment. While he rode the streetcar home, Eaton’s sold the game and called
in an order for 6 more. So began production of the first commercially
successful table hockey game. You can build a fully functional reproduction of
this historic game. Step-by-step instructions with scaled diagrams for each stage of construction, and full sized patterns for irregular shapes. Suitable for intermediate woodworkers. (Plans use Imperial units - feet & inches.) Shipping to Canada C$2.50; to USA C$3.50; Overseas C$6.50. (c) 1995-2023. These plans may not be reproduced, in whole or in part, by any means.
