Splendid mid 19th century engraved bird's eye view with attractive hand color. A superior visual example.

Stunning level of detail, countless hundreds of buildings shown with windows, dozens of ships and boats in the rivers and harbor, even numerous people in the foreground at bottom left.

Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina. Typical closed split at the left inset tab which extends c.3" into the map at middle left (through West Hoboken and into the Hudson river) which is mostly invisible and easy to overlook or forgive visually.
