A Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), is a sensor used to monitor the position of the throttle in an internal combustion Engine.
The Sensor then relays the information to the ECU and works out the ratio between Air/Fuel.
A faulty TPS can lead to the ECU stalling the car or the car running very poorly.
